Mount Temple Golf Club

Established in 1991, Mount Temple Golf Club is located in the heart of the Irish Midlands, 5 miles from the town of Athlone. The 18-hole traditional style championship course is set in an area of great historical importance and was built on an embankment of meltwater sands, making it playable all year round. The course combines features of a parkland and links course typical of the Midlands. With the motto "Built by God, refined by man", it is known for its large, natural greens, reminiscent of a links course, and undulating fairways. It provides a wonderful challenge for the discerning golfer and offers panoramic views over more than 80 km of the Midlands.
