Brian Harman took a week off after the Travelers Championship where he tied for fifth. The American posted two top 10's in his last three starts and shared 19th place at the U.S Open two weeks ago. Harman knows the course pretty well and it suits his style of play. He won the title here in 2014.

Sungjae Im arrives at TPC Deere Run after a solid T8 finish at last week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic. Im already announced that he will skip The Open in order to prepare for the Olympics. The South Korean will be chasing a gold medal in Tokyo which will allow him to avoid the mandatory Military Service in his home country. The South Korean finished tied for 26th in his last visit at TPC Deere Run in 2019.

World number 16 Daniel Berger chose to stay in the United States and prepare for The Open playing in John Deere Classic instead of abrdn Scottish Open as did many of his colleagues. Berger, who already won once this year, has posted two top 10s in his last four starts. He hasn't played since the U.S Open where finished tied for seventh.

Seamus Power

Seamus Power has played some solid golf recently and we see him more and more often on the first page of the leaderboard.  The last time he missed a cut was at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open presented by MISTRAS in March and since then he climbed the world ranking with more than 200 sports. Power is T8-T19-T19-T9 in his last four starts.

Hank Lebioda is not among the most popular on the PGA Tour, but the American starts getting attention after two solid weeks on the circuit. Lebiaoda posted two consecutives top 5s and the question is if he can get it done and win that first PGA Tour title. The key to his recent success is hidden in his short game. The work and time he has invested in it is visible and it is not a surprise that he is third in scrambling this season.
