Of course, if we’re talking about golfers with a (digital) sense of humour, we have to mention Lee Westwood, master of Photoshop.

But there’s one golfer on the European Tour who you need to follow for some good online banter, Daniel Galvins.
Northern boy Galvins was born in Leeds in 1991 and grew up playing as a junior at Wheatley Golf Club.
He put in an impressive first and third round at last week’s Austrian Open, finishing three and five under respectively. It was his first tournament of 2021 so far. Despite this, the 30 year old was tied for 5th place after the first round before landing at a commendable T21 (four under par) at the end of the tournament.
But his game alone is not the only reason you should look out for him.
On Instagram, you get a glimpse of his life as a professional golfer with a healthy dose of humour. It’s one of those rare instances of tour pros just let themselves be themselves online.
Anyone who watches Golf Mates on YouTube might have seen him have a laugh playing a round of night golf. Definitely worth a watch, especially if you haven’t heard of him before.
